Proverbs 22:12 says, “The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge, but he overthrows the words of the faithless.” This powerful verse reminds us of the importance of seeking wisdom and knowledge in all that we do. As a Christian minister, I am constantly inspired by the wisdom found in the book of Proverbs.

In today’s fast-paced world, it can be easy to get caught up in the chaos and noise that surrounds us. We are bombarded with information from every direction, and it can be difficult to discern what is true and what is false. But Proverbs 22:12 reminds us that the eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge. When we seek wisdom from God and trust in His guidance, we can be confident that we are on the right path.

As a minister, I believe that it is my duty to continually seek knowledge and wisdom from the Lord. I spend time in prayer and meditation, seeking His guidance in all that I do. I know that when I rely on God for wisdom, He will preserve me and lead me on the right path.

It can be tempting to rely on our own understanding and intellect, but Proverbs 22:12 warns us against this. The verse goes on to say that God will overthrow the words of the faithless. When we trust in our own knowledge and understanding, we are essentially being faithless to God. But when we seek wisdom and knowledge from Him, we can be confident that He will guide us and protect us from falsehood.

In my ministry, I have seen the power of seeking knowledge from God. When I rely on His wisdom and guidance, I am able to minister to others in a way that is truly impactful. I have seen lives transformed and hearts healed because of the wisdom that comes from God.

As Christians, we are called to be people of wisdom and knowledge. We are called to seek truth and understanding in all that we do. Proverbs 22:12 serves as a reminder to us that when we seek knowledge from the Lord, He will preserve us and protect us from falsehood.

So I encourage you, dear brothers and sisters, to seek wisdom from God in all that you do. Spend time in prayer and meditation, seeking His guidance and understanding. Trust in His wisdom, knowing that He will preserve you and lead you on the right path.

In conclusion, Proverbs 22:12 is a powerful reminder of the importance of seeking wisdom and knowledge from the Lord. When we trust in His guidance, we can be confident that He will preserve us and protect us from falsehood. Let us be people of wisdom and knowledge, seeking truth in all that we do. May we rely on God for wisdom, knowing that He will lead us on the right path.
